    Description

    Overview of Position:

    HEAL Palestine is seeking a detail-oriented, mission-driven Development Operations and Data Associate to support fundraising and donor engagement. This role manages donor data, oversees the CRM, coordinates with accounting to ensure accurate gift processing, and assists with reporting, prospect research, and grants support. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, collaborative, and committed to accuracy, confidentiality, and HEAL Palestine’s mission to serve children and families in Gaza.

    Key Responsibilities

    Donor Data and CRM Management

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in our CRM.
    • Manage data entry for gifts, pledges, soft credits, and matching gifts.
    • Ensure timely processing of donation receipts and acknowledgments.
    • Collaborate with accounting to reconcile gifts and track revenue by program, fund, and campaign.
    • Assist in creating development dashboards and regular donor reports.
    • Prepare segmented donor lists for campaigns, stewardship, events, and strategic outreach.
    • Support donor stewardship by accurately documenting interactions and follow-ups.

    Prospect Research and Grants Support

    • Research prospective donors, foundations, corporate partners, and institutional funders.
    • Maintain a prospect pipeline and track movement through cultivation and stewardship stages.
    • Support preparation of letters of inquiry, grant proposals, and reporting materials.
    • Assist with assembling grant attachments, impact metrics, and organizational documents under the guidance of the Development Manager..

    Administrative and Cross-Team Support

    • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure seamless gift processing and documentation.
    • Support general development operations and special projects as assigned.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • 1–3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising operations, donor relations, or related fields.
    • Experience with CRM or donor databases required.
    • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
    • Ability to synthesize information, generate reports, and track key metrics.
    • Strong writing and communication skills; experience with grant research or writing is a plus.
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-responsive environment.
    • Collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively across teams, including accounting and program staff.
    • Familiarity with matching gift platforms, corporate giving portals, or revenue reconciliation processes is a plus.
