    Cranaleith Spiritual Center, a Philadelphia area nonprofit founded in 1998, offers a contemplative space for all those seeking wholeness and transformation for themselves and society.     Position Overview:

    The Digital Storyteller & Engagement Specialist will lift up the voices of our community--participants, volunteers, neighbors, partners, and donors--so that the impact of Cranaleith’s mission can be seen, felt, and shared. Through compassionate listening, thoughtful presence, and creative digital expression, this role will help weave a consistent narrative of healing, hospitality, and hope.

    This is a role for a storyteller who understands the sacredness of witnessing someone’s journey. Someone who can hold the depth of human experience and translate it into images, words, and sounds that inspire connection and generosity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Authentic Story Gathering

    • Listen deeply to the lived experiences of program participants, volunteers, partners, and donors.
    • Conduct interviews and capture first-person testimonials that reflect the dignity, resilience, and spiritual depth of our community.
    • Highlight the value-added, transformative components of each individual’s experience at Cranaleith.

    Creative Production

    • Create short-form videos and reels, written narratives, and weekly newsletters that illuminate our mission.
    • Produce a minimum monthly content package including 6+ short-form videos/reel and 12–20 photo stories
    • Maintain a digital story archive for future campaigns and institutional storytelling.

    Digital Engagement & Presence

    • Manage Cranaleith’s social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn .
    • Develop posting schedules, steward online engagement, and monitor analytics with attention to mission alignment and areas of growth.
    • Ensure every story, image, and caption reflects Cranaleith’s contemplative, trauma‑informed, and justice-oriented voice.

    Mission Advancement Support

    • Document impact for fundraising, development campaigns, community outreach, and grant reporting.
    • Create story-driven materials that strengthen donor trust, transparency, and inspiration.
    • Collaborate with staff to amplify program highlights, events, and opportunities for involvement.

    Job requirements

    • Work location-in person
    • Flexibility is required, some weekends and evenings.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills.
    • Videography experience required.
