    Description

    The Children’s Advocacy Center of Hampshire County is seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to join our trauma-informed team. The clinician will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and teens who have experienced abuse, as well as to their caregivers. This role also contributes to community prevention and education efforts that build resilience and promote safety for all children.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide short-term, evidence-based therapy to children, teens, and non-offending caregivers.
    • Develop and implement trauma-informed treatment plans.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners, including DCF, law enforcement, and medical providers.
    • Offer school and community consultation for children impacted by trauma.
    • Participate in prevention workshops for youth, parents, and educators.
    • Document services, maintain case records, and ensure compliance with agency standards.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Master’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent (required); LICSW or equivalent strongly preferred.
    • Minimum three years of clinical experience with children and families.
    • Knowledge of trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment models (e.g., TF-CBT, EMDR).
    • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti-oppressive practice.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
    • Reliable transportation and ability to pass all background checks.
