We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Spanish teacher for a part-time Spanish teacher for Intermediate (Upper Elementary, grades 3-5 students), beginning immediately.
It entails teaching two sections of 1x/week on Friday afternoon. There is some flexibility for the time involved, essentially 2 hours in the 12:10-2:50 time range. Each section is 10-12 students.
This is a perfect job for a teacher who has stepped away from full-time work and wishes to get engaged with a vibrant and positive school community in a small and manageable way. Because of family considerations, our current amazing Spanish teacher for these grades has had to switch to full-time work. This teacher will have the support and resources of our current outgoing teacher at the outset and ongoing collaboration and assistance from our lead Middle School / Upper School Spanish teacher, Monica Doubal.
