    Responsibilities

    Purpose of the Role:

    To lead on external communications for Rethinking Economics.

    Main Areas of Responsibility

    • Managing the communications@rethinkeconomics.org inbox
    • Creating & scheduling content for REI’s social media (Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and day-to-day management of the channels
    • Sourcing content for and sending our monthly newsletter
    • Producing, publishing and reviewing website content, including the REI blog
    • Liaison with and recruitment of students, writers, designers and video editors where relevant for content creation
    • Oversee email journeys and write copy to meet the needs of our new membership offer
    • Own Rethinking Economics’ relationships with press
    • Support in the creation and delivery of REI’s communications strategy
    • Support the rollout of REI’s new brand and redevelopment of rethinkeconomics.org website
