    Shift: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm

    Position Summary:

    Provides essential support to the Foundation’s fundraising efforts by delivering high-level administrative assistance to the Development Director, managing gift processing and direct mail, maintaining the donor database, and coordinating with Foundation and organizational volunteers to execute projects and events. Also contributes to marketing initiatives that strengthen donor engagement and advance the Foundation’s mission

    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years relevant experience with proficiency with donor software (Raiser’s Edge, Bloomerang, Greater Giving)
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate fundraising experience
    • High proficiency in MS Outlook and Office Suite; commitment to on-going technical skill development as it relates to position
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Adept at working both independently and collaboratively to accomplish goals and objectives within deadlines

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Accurately process and record all gifts, pledges, and donor-related transactions.
    • Prepare timely receipts and acknowledgment letters or emails for all donations and donor inquiries.
    • Assist with the preparation, submission, and tracking of corporate and foundation grant materials.
    • Draft, prepare, reproduce, and file routine correspondence and related documents.
    • Safeguard confidential donor information and uphold privacy standards in all campaign and database activities.
    • Compile and distribute Foundation and organizational materials to donors, prospects, and other external stakeholders.
    • Prepare outgoing mailings—including bulk mail—and oversee the full mailing process.
    • Develop, update, and maintain financial spreadsheets and routine reports.
    • Provide courteous, professional service to guests, residents, staff, and all individuals engaging with the Foundation.
    • Coordinate the Foundation Trustee Board Meetings using OnBoard; scheduling, setting up meetings, taking minutes, managing virtual meeting options and OWL technology.
    • Support all aspects of Futura Age Foundation events, including Trustee meetings, donor dinners, community outreach events, the annual gala, in-house special events, and campaign appeals.

    Upon acceptance of an offer, candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, reference checks and background check prior to starting work with Futura Age.

    Upon first day of hire, all staff are required to provide documentation of influenza vaccination (Seasonally for Influenza). Additionally, all staff will undergo tuberculosis testing upon their first day and annually.
