    Description

    Summary of Position

    The Operational Associate for the Inside Out Project is responsible for the daily operational activities for running the Inside Out Project. These responsibilities include communicating with Project Participants, Group Leaders, preparing and printing Group Actions, and promoting the project through its different outward-facing channels.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides general support with the coordination, production and organization of the Inside Out Project
    • Acts as a main project support and point of contact from beginning to end of all Inside Out Group Actions
    • Supports in overseeing the progress of Actions by communicating regularly with Project Participants and Group Leaders
    • Supports with all first contact calls and Group Leader onboarding process
    • Oversees and responds to general Inside Out Project inbox and correspondence for Group Action proposals
    • Works with the Program Manager to delineate projects as necessary
    • Prepares monthly internal reports by organizing and analyzing project data
    • Supports the Program Manager on Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reports
    • Manages printing and shipping of all posters (globally)
    • Manages the Inside Out Project website and all web development updates
    • Organizes and archives the Project server database
    • Maintains server upkeep and maintenance
    • Supports the Program Manager on the Inside Out Project Educational Program’s growth and development
    • Supports on program evaluation and data collection for the Project
    • On occasion, supports in the making of wheat-paste Inside Out Project installations and Inside Out Photobooth projects
    • Other duties as assigned

    Communication Duties (In Collaboration with the CACTW Communications Team)

    • Executes the Inside Out Project communication plan with support from the CACTW Communications team
    • Drafts Inside Out Project content for social media, website, newsletters and news articles
    • Maintains Inside Out Project social media engagement by responding to DMs, reviewing and resharing tagged content.
    • Track user engagement across all Inside Out Project's digital media, including but not limited to Inside Out Project's website, social media and newsletters
    • Review Inside Out Project communication(s) drafted by Group Leaders, including but not limited to press releases, website texts, social media posts, graphics, and all other promotional materials before they are shared

    Qualifications

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent analytical and management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in a second language other than English (French preferred)

    Education and Experience

    • Has 1-2 years of previous work and/or lived experience in a related field
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required

    Other Requirements 

    • Prolonged periods of walking, sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at time
    • Must be able to assist in the creation of wheat-paste installations, carrying equipment,
    • preparing glue and working on scaffolding or lift equipment
    • Must be able to work on-site in New York City
