    Child - Youth Program Facilitator (Atlanta)

    Hourly Rate: $20–$25/hour (based on skillset/experience)

    Job Type: Part-Time | Some evenings & weekends | Some Travel required

    About the Role

    Smart from the Start is seeking a passionate Child & Youth Program Facilitator to support children, youth, and families through engaging programs in Atlanta. The Facilitator will implement youth activities, provide direct services, lead outreach efforts, and ensure families have access to high-quality support that promotes wellness, school readiness, and positive development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Child & Youth Programming: Plan and lead age-appropriate, culturally responsive activities.
    • Family Support: Deliver strengths-based, compassionate services and resources to children and families.
    • Outreach & Engagement: Build community connections, increase program participation, and maintain enrollment trends.
    • Program Operations: Manage materials, inventory, and support evaluation/documentation.
    • Representation & Training: Attend staff meetings, professional development, and community events as a program ambassador.
    • Additional Duties: Perform tasks as needed to support program goals.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • Experience working with culturally and economically diverse families.
    • Strong communication, technology, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to work independently, lead groups, and collaborate with a team.
    • Valid driver’s license preferred; reliable transportation and ability to travel to program sites, community events, and outreach activities throughout Atlanta as needed.
