    Description

A unique and comprehensive creative enrichment studio for preschool-aged children is seeking an experienced, talented, energetic, and creative part-time co-teacher for its Winter 2026 through Spring 2026 program for two-through six-year-olds. Studio’s experience follows a multidisciplinary approach to creative and imaginative learning.

    For this position you must:

    • Have 5+ years of experience leading the teaching, care, and safety of young children — and adore them!
    • Be available 4–5 days, Monday through Friday, between 12:30pm and 5:30pm.
    • Support various Studio classrooms as an assistant/support teacher from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, and teach and lead the care, safety, and creative engagement of multi-age children (ages 2–6) in a small group of 4–8 children daily from 3:00pm to 5:30pm.

The position requires working closely with the Studio co-teaching team and directors. As a relationship-based program, we are seeking those who can commit to the next 6 months of programming, from January 2026 through June 2026.

Yoga, creative movement, art, design, storytelling, drama, outdoor nature exploration, and musical expression are the central foundations of the program. All curriculum and experiences at Studio strive to expose children to various global cultures, compassionate awareness, nature, and environmental connections. Each learning group at Studio comprises a maximum of 8–10 children with 2 co-teachers and/or a lead teacher and an assistant teacher.

Studio nurtures a relationship-based Holistic Process Approach and regularly includes visiting artists and musicians, as well as occasional participation from parents and family members. The program is energetic and centers upon movement, music, arts, and sculpture as core modes of creative learning. Please see our website at www.studiocreativeplay.org for more information about our mission and philosophy.

Teachers with musical proficiency and talent are particularly encouraged to apply — especially those who can play an instrument (e.g., guitar) to offer regular music experiences in the classroom.

This is a part-time position offering hourly compensation, approximately 20–25 hours per week.

    Compensation: $35.00–$40.00/hour depending on experience.

Please write to us about your background and what specifically attracts you to our program, philosophical approach, and mission. Tell us what inspires you about Studio and what you would bring to a program like ours.
