If so, then Legal Aid Works is looking for you to be our organization's next Litigation Attorney in Family Law. Join our dynamic team at a nonprofit law firm to help low-income clients achieve justice in court cases involving family law (domestic violence protective orders, custody, support). Handle a busy family law caseload under the supervision of an experienced attorney, covering a seven-county region around our branch office location in Tappahannock, Virginia. Litigation, community education duties covering multi-county region. This is a great way to get into court quickly and gain litigation experience while being closely mentored by experienced attorneys who are prepared to support the work of a new or less experienced attorney. Public service experience and Spanish speaking a plus. Salary of $69,000 annually, plus excellent benefits, including $7,500 yearly toward student loans for a total benefit package worth $20,000.
