    Description

    Cave Canem is seeking a Programs Coordinator to provide administrative support for the organization’s core programming and, in conjunction with other staff, assist in delivering innovative public programming in New York City and nationally. The Programs Coordinator reports to the Programs Manager and is responsible for administering the organization’s artistic programs. The Programs Coordinator will assist the Programs Manager with event logistics and manage related administrative tasks.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain the Cave Canem Submittable account and assist with projects therein. This includes, but is not limited to, adding projects to the system; updating existing projects; assigning submissions to screeners and judges; and corresponding with applicants via the Submittable software.
    • Update both Asana and Office Management calendars with all Programs activity, including events and team members’ office hours;
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed for the department;
    • Data entry as it pertains to attendance tracking, report updates, and file organization;
    • Process all department expenses via Artspool, with correct coding and within a week of purchase;
    • Receive and respond to all correspondence relating to programs@ccpoets.org;
    • Assist the Programs Manager as and when needed with the scope of their work.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1- 3 years of professional administration experience
    • experience with workflow management tools such as Asana;
    • experience with systems and databases, especially their development and management;
    • experience with AV/Tech set up for live-streamed programming
    • effective communicator with good interpersonal skills;
    • investment in the creation of a positive work environment;
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
