Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) recruits, trains and supports community volunteers who advocate for the best interest of local children in foster care in south-central New Jersey.
The Case Manager/Advocate Supervisor provides case management support to our volunteers, enabling them in turn to support the children assigned to us. This position works primarily in Mercer County.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a case load of 25-30 volunteers.
- Review, edit and approve court reports, and finalize and distribute reports to court and other legal parties.
- Monitor and document that Advocates are meeting program requirements.
- Provide or arrange for court coverage if advocates are unable to attend.
- With Program Manager, work to remedy issues as they arise.
- Complete performance evaluations for new Advocates after 3 months, and all Advocates annually.
- Acknowledge volunteer milestones, including exit interviews, cards for anniversary of service, etc.
- Complete Case Closure stories when a case is complete.
- Participate in staff meetings
- Ensure that case notes, data and other information is up to date and accurately entered in CASA’s database.
