Position Overview
The Community Programs Manager plays a core role in ensuring Theatre Off Jackson’s (TOJ) performance spaces are vibrant, accessible, and well-coordinated hubs for community engagement and artistic production. This full-time position oversees all space scheduling, rental and program operations, and community partnerships across both the Upstairs Main Hall and Downstairs Theater. The role balances earned-revenue generation with mission-centered programming, supporting artists, community organizations, and partners through equitable access, thoughtful coordination, and collaborative relationship-building.
This role is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime.
Position Details
Reports to: Executive Director
Status: Full-time, non-exempt (40 hours/week; evenings/weekends as needed)
Compensation: $32.00–$36.00 per hour (equivalent to $65,000–$75,000 annually), overtime-eligible
Location: Onsite at 409 7th Avenue S, Seattle, WA, with occasional remote flexibility
