    Hours: Part Time (8-12 hours per week)

    Location: This part-time position is predominantly remote but requires weekly visits to downtown Oakland office. Occasional further travel is required.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The California School-Based Health Alliance (CSHA) is seeking a part-time Administrative Coordinator to support our team of 10 staff across California. Our work provides support and training to school-based health and wellness centers across the state so that more young people have access to health services. This new position would support the work of the organization by maintaining the Oakland office, ordering materials and food, and generally ensuring the efficiency of the team. They would be expected to function independently under the general supervision of the Administrative Manager. Hours are flexible and there is a possibility to increase them over time.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Order office supplies and maintain supply inventory.
    • Serve as the main staff point person for general office and space issues.
    • Manage occasional special projects as needed.
    • Perform light office maintenance and other general office tasks as assigned.
    • Assist with mailings.
    • Assist with human resources activities, including processing paperwork, filing, and research.
    • Coordinate the organizational calendar, support with staff travel arrangements, and schedule meetings.
    • Coordinate the purchasing of materials, supplies, and materials for CSHA events (e.g., tours, site visits, thank you gifts, etc.)
    • Data entry for school health contacts.
    • Coordinate and ship materials and items as needed
    • Provide administrative support for expense tracking and credit card reconciliation processes
    • Other duties as needed

    IDEAL COMPETENCIES

    • Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year of related experience or three years of relevant experience.
    • Ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and maintain high professional standards.
    • Strong computer skills, proficiency with Google Suite, Zoom, Adobe.
    • Ability to come to downtown Oakland office at least once/week .
    • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
    • Interest in education and/or health care preferred.
