Job Title: Fundraising Manager
Pay: $60,000-65,000 per year
Location: Remote, within Continental U.S.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, mandatory travel twice a year

Immigration Law and Justice Network (ILJ Network) is a non-profit organization that is passionately engaged in serving immigrants as they seek legal status in the United States, by providing free or low-cost expert legal counsel, advocacy, and support services. Through 16 affiliated sites across the country, we pursue justice for all those we serve, while offering a sense of safety, trust, and belonging.
Position Overview:
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys persuasive writing, data analysis, and relationship management.
- 60% of this position will be dedicated to identifying aligned grant opportunities, grant writing, and relationship development with funders.
- 35% of this position will consist of donor development, donor management, and the design and execution of donor campaigns.
- 5% of this position will focus on data collection and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the internal team to identify funding needs
- Create social media fundraising campaigns
- Research and identify grant opportunities
- Prepare formal grant applications with strong narratives and accurate budgets
- Maintain strong relationships with funders
- Draft fundraising appeals
- Maintain multiple in-depth databases for donor management and grant management
- Complete grant reports
- Collect and analyze data from our nationwide network
- Manage the production of our annual reports
- Assist in the development of fundraising trainings for partners
- As the face of ILJ Network in various forums, the Fundraising Manager will also cultivate meaningful partnerships with our sites and compellingly articulate our mission to a broader audience.
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in grant writing in the non-profit sector
- Experience in immigration or racial justice work is highly desired
- Experience in data collection and analysis
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally, in a clear, concise, well-organized manner
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of MS Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, and grant databases
- Critical thinking and organizational skills are a must
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively and independently
