Project Description
The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), administered by NAFHE/ANPPM and funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, provides part-time community service assignments for low-income adults age 55 and older. Participants gain income, training, and job readiness skills while supporting nonprofit and public agencies that strengthen local communities. The program prepares older workers to transition into unsubsidized employment and promotes dignity, independence, and economic self-sufficiency.
Position Summary
The National Association for Hispanic Elderly/ANPPM is seeking a Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager to oversee data systems and compliance for its Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) grant. This role ensures federal reporting accuracy, develops internal IT processes, and provides staff support on Microsoft 365, GPMS, and cloud-based platforms. As part of a modernization initiative, the MIS Manager will also design analytics tools, strengthen virtual collaboration, and improve knowledge sharing across headquarters and eight regional offices. By ensuring compliance and data integrity, this position advances NAFHE/ANPPM’s mission of creating pathways to employment and dignity for older workers nationwide.
