The Jewish Women’s Archive (JWA) is a global organization devoted to collecting and promoting Jewish women’s* stories and voices, to ensure a more accurate historical narrative and a more inclusive future. Founded in 1996 as an innovative online archive, JWA has become the world’s largest source of information on Jewish women and has built a wide range of online and public programs that provide education and insight and spark conversation and change.
*JWA embraces expansive understandings of Jewishness and gender. We include Jews from all backgrounds and those who are non-binary, genderqueer, or gender-questioning.
Position Summary
The Development and Executive Assistant provides critical support to the functioning of the JWA team. They manage day-to-day office and staff needs, coordinate fundraising tasks and manage the donor database, serve as an external contact person for the organization, and act as liaison to the Board of Directors. This position requires a detail-oriented, well-organized individual with problem-solving skills, commitment to organizational culture, and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders. They should be able to work both independently and as a member of the team, juggle multiple tasks, take initiative, and have a professional demeanor at all times.

Compensation/Benefits
The salary for this position is $54,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience. This full-time position is eligible for a generous benefits package, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term and short-term disability, paid parental leave, 403(b) contribution, FSA, and QTA.
