We seek a dedicated Partnerships Specialist to drive our efforts in partner outreach, event onsite support for voter engagement initiatives, grow national relationships and fundraising, and maintain administrative systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the promotion of free and fair elections. Vote.org partners with organizations nationwide to execute on-the-ground efforts, including voter education, registration, and mobilization. This is a remote position with travel up to 25%. The ideal candidate is passionate about democracy, has a strong background in communication, and excels at building relationships out in the public. They should be results-driven, strategic, and committed to expanding voter participation. This role reports to the Partnerships Manager.
What you’ll do:
- Your work will directly impact voter participation by ensuring that grassroots organizations
have the resources to educate, register, and mobilize voters.
- You’ll be one of our organization's representatives onsite in various partner conventions and meetings that strengthen democracy and help underrepresented communities have a voice in elections.
- Cultivate relationships with corporate and nonprofit partners to grow the nationwide use of our Vote.org VIP tools.
- You’ll engage with donors, partners, and the public, making meaningful connections in the nonprofit, corporate, and political space.
- You’ll craft compelling stories that inspire new strategies for engaging partners and donors.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align event.
What you bring to the table:
- Proven track record of customer service and fundraising outreach.
- Ability to develop and execute partner & donor engagement strategies with strong verbal & written communication skills for personalized outreach.
- Successfully execute independent travel and lifting up to 40lbs.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized and manage data entry for onboarding new partners.
- You understand voter engagement, democracy initiatives, or social impact work.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nonprofit Management, Philanthropic Studies, Political Science, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
