    Title: Training Support Staff-II

    Reports to: Training Programs Manager

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Pay Rate: $17/hr.

    Description

    We are looking for a Training Support Staff-II to join our team and contribute to the mission of Beck Institute through support of our various live and virtual professional training events and by assisting with training program material editing and formatting, specifically Power Point presentations.

    Duties

    Live (Virtual) Event Support:

    • Monitor the training event chat; respond to/redirect trainee inquiries as applicable
    • Troubleshoot low complexity tech issues for trainees and faculty/presenters
    • Mute/unmute trainees
    • Start/stop/manage breakout rooms

    Training Material Support:

    • Format all live and prerecorded workshop and webinar training materials according to the Beck Institute brand and style guide

    Schedule

    The TSS-II is a non-exempt, part-time, hourly position. TSS-IIs are scheduled on an as-needed, as-available basis. The events that the TSS-II will be asked to support will likely:

    • Occur between 8:30AM – 4:30PM, ET, although evening events may present
    • Occur during the work week, although weekend events may present
    • Range from 90 minutes to 3 days (with the standard workshop “day” being 8 hours with a 1-hour lunch.)

    Training material support can be done at any time, provided it is done within communicated timeframes and by any assigned due dates.

    Please note that opportunities for additional administrative work may be offered to the TSS-II if and when they arise. There is no obligation for the TSS-II to accept any such opportunities, nor is there any guarantee that they will be offered. The offer of additional work does not imply a promotion, rate change, or any other additional benefit.

    Interested candidates should:

    • Have a high degree of availability ,flexibility, and ability to turn projects around quickly during agreed working hours
    • Have reliable internet
    • Exhibit experience with, or at a minimum, familiarity with videoconferencing applications
    • Be reliable, professional, and courteous
    • Strong proficiency in English, with a native-level fluency or equivalent skills
    • Should be skilled in completing Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and other administrative activities
    • Have a willingness and ability to engage in extensive screentime
    • Have availability to start in January 2026

    Compensation & Training

    • This position pays $17/hour
    • Beck Institute will provide hired staff with a Beck Institute Zoom account, email address, and laptop.
    • While extensive knowledge of Zoom and familiarity with Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) are not required, they would be beneficial.
    • Hired candidates for this part-time position will participate in a paid virtual training session that will cover role orientation and a Zoom introduction prior to supporting any live events.
    • Staff will be responsible for tracking their own hours and will receive compensation for training, Beck Institute departmental meetings, and events supported.
    • Initially, newly hired staff will not be the sole support for an event and will have at least one experienced team member present.

    Work Location

    • This is a 100% remote position, but we are currently only able to accept applications from candidates located in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
