The Store Retail Coordinator seeks to help dismantle systemic inequities, promote psychological safety, engage in equitable practices across systems, and contribute to an organizational culture rooted in dignity, accountability, and care in service of the youth that Treehouse supports.

Creative, detail-oriented, and personable, the Store Retail Coordinator plans proactively for seasonal demand, helps train and oversee volunteers, and coordinates both the online and in-person shopping experience.

    • Embrace transformation by seeking out perspectives across the organization and with partner organizations and communities to evolve how Treehouse serves youth with curiosity and openness to new ideas.
    • Maintain the presentation of the Store, including merchandising displays, seasonal inventory rotation, and updated signage. Identify and communicate daily priorities to volunteers.

    • Collaborate with the team to build long-term, respectful partnerships with Tribal Nations and Indigenous-led organizations to ensure items offered to Indigenous youth are culturally grounded and community-informed.
    • Engage in ongoing education and reflection to strengthen Treehouse’s ability to support the growth, success, and well-being of the Black youth we serve.
    • Help establish and maintain an environment where clients, volunteers, and staff are able to engage positively and respectfully.
    • Help oversee volunteer activities including providing orientations to the space/team, training on new tasks, support throughout a volunteer shift, relationship building, and modeling dignity, accountability, and care.
    • Ensure accurate and timely data recording of client visits and inventory records.
