    Description

    The National Association for Hispanic Elderly/Asociacion Nacional Pro Personas Mayores (NAFHE/ANPPM) is looking for a Deputy National Program Coordinator to assist in implementing and overseeing NAFHE/ANPPM’s Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP) program across the states of Arizona, California, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania.

    Participants in SCSEP are 55 years and older and are provided, on average, 20 hours of paid community service in term limited jobs at local host agencies, either not-for-profit organizations or local governmental agencies. In exchange, the host organization provides participants with in-kind on-the-job training. During their participation, the participants are assisted and mentored by NAFHE/ANPPM staff to leverage the experience to find permanent work.

    Specifically, the Deputy Program Coordinator will:

    • Coordinate the collection, review, and analysis of monthly and quarterly reports from regional offices; identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
    • Support data quality and compliance by managing participant records in third party cloud based systems (GPMS), ensuring accuracy and timely submission of quarterly progress reports (QPRs) and data validation (DV) materials
    • Assist in monitoring host organization assignments, participant placements, and community service hours against mandatory grant program targets
    • Support onboarding, professional development, and digital literacy initiatives for regional staff and program participants
    • Contribute to grant proposals, budget justifications, and performance narratives
    • Assist in coordinating logistics for national and localstaff meetings, trainings, and conferences
    • Support special projects including research, data visualization, and public outreach campaigns
    • Participate in site monitoring visits, audits, and Data Validation (DV) reviews
    • Interpret and analyze demographic and market data to support outreach campaigns

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, or related degree.
    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in program coordination or grants management, preferably within federally funded or workforce development programs.
    • Background or experience in community organizing; job placement programs; or social services work
    • Data entry into cloud-based database systems
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other cloud-based technology products
    • Virtual meeting technology, both hosting and participating
    • Ability for regional and local travel when required
    • Experience with federally funded programs and or case management systems preferred
    • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
    • Existing relationships with community and neighborhood-based organizations within the community served is a plus
