    About the role

    We’re looking for a new talent to work hand in hand with volunteers, staff, and communities, and provide teeth care services to low-income patients at MEDLIFE Mobile Clinics in vulnerable communities in Lima. By achieving that, you will contribute to one of MEDLIFE core focuses by providing access to quality health to low-income patients.

    What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?

    • Provide outpatient dental consultancy to patients in mobile medical campaigns (in vulnerable communities in Lima) to be carried out 3 times a week or as required.
    • Conduct dental treatment and extractions to patients in our mobile clinics.
    • Issue the pertinent medical prescriptions according to the patient's diagnosis.
    • Interact with the volunteers in the questions they may have.
    • Complete and present the report of patients attended following the internal guidelines of the organization.

    What will you bring?

    • University Degree in Dentistry accredited by the institution of Dentistry in Peru.
    • 2+ years of work experience as a graduated Dentist.
    • Advanced-level English skills required.
    • Must have a valid license (colegiatura) to work as a Dentist in Peru.
    • Work experience in the field caring for patients in rural communities.
    • Be a professional committed to social development.
    • Knowledge of local agencies, community programs, and services.
    • Live in Lima, Peru.
