    Description

    The American Teilhard Association (ATA) is seeking an experienced and self-motivated person to serve part time (approximately 25-30 hours/month) as the ATA’s Program Manager.

    The American Teilhard Association is a 60-year-old 501c3 member organization dedicated to expanding knowledge and understanding of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and his scientific, social, philosophical, and spiritual vision that unites science and faith, engaging the evolving world.

    The successful candidate will have experience in supporting a principal/executive. She/he should be committed to the goals of ATA, able to connect and communicate with others, skilled in basic office software, have facility with social media, and be adept at multitasking and customer service. Ideal for a person passionate about supporting a mission-driven nonprofit.

    The Program Manager will work closely with the President, as well as with Board Chairs, staff, and volunteers, to coordinate operations, oversee communication and outreach efforts, manage technology and web presence, and support fundraising and membership initiatives.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES in coordination with the ATA President:

      • Oversee and maintain the organization's digital presence, including website, email communications, and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook).
      • Manage the editing and regular updating of the organization’s website and email content.
      • Monitor and coordinate planning and logistics for events, including the Annual Meeting and Retreat, as well as other ongoing programming and projects.
      • Contribute to membership engagement and outreach efforts, with a focus on attracting younger members.
