Position: Fee-for-Service (FFS) Therapist
Locations: Five NYS-licensed mental health clinics across Brooklyn and Midtown Manhattan
Employment Type: Fee-for-Service (FFS)
Schedule: Flexible hours; Saturday availability highly preferred
Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic psychotherapists to join our dynamic team at CCM. Our therapists provide individual, group, and family counseling, along with comprehensive psychiatric and psychosocial assessments. Additionally, we offer educational workshops on topics including domestic violence, anger management, and parenting skills. This position allows you to work with a diverse caseload of adults, adolescents, families, and children, with opportunities for both onsite and remote work.
At CCM, we prioritize professional development by offering clinical supervision and support to help you accumulate clinical hours toward licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnoses using culturally sensitive, evidence-based methods
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy addressing mental health, substance use, and related challenges
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic modalities
- Deliver psychoeducation to clients and families to enhance understanding of conditions and coping strategies
- Offer crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress or psychiatric emergencies
- Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other team members to coordinate comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational and OMH standards
- Participate in supervision, case conferences, and team meetings to foster professional growth and quality care
- Uphold ethical standards, client confidentiality, and respect for client autonomy
- Engage with community resources to facilitate client referrals and holistic support
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Current New York State LMSW or LCSW licensure or eligibility for practice
- Experience in mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient setting
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapies and substance use treatment modalities
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to client backgrounds and experiences
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Proficiency in maintaining clinical documentation
- Flexibility to work both onsite and remotely
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus
Compensation:
Type A (LMSW and Permit Holders):
- 30-minute session: $20
- 45-minute session: $30
- 60-minute session: $40
- Intake session: $45
Type B (LCSW):
- 30-minute session: $22
- 45-minute session: $33
- 60-minute session: $44
- Intake session: $48
