ABOUT US

MVP operates like a “mutual fund” for political giving: We raise money from donors, then channel it toward the most impactful organizations and power-building work around the country. Learn more: https://movement.vote.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Philanthropic Advisor at MVP, you will prospect, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of donors and funders in your assigned region who give — or have the capacity to give — $10,000 or more annually, primarily — but not exclusively — in the Southern California region (Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego metro areas). You will report to the Western Regional Philanthropic Director and work closely with donor team members in MVP’s Western region.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, relationship-centered professional who thrives on helping people channel their values into transformative change. You bring both structure and creativity, balancing independence with collaboration, and you can juggle multiple priorities.
