    Ceiba, a coalition-building organization in Philadelphia, is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contributing to meaningful change in Eastern North Philadelphia through public policy, advocacy, and community development.

    About Ceiba:

    Ceiba is a non-profit organization in Philadelphia that promotes the economic development and financial inclusion of the Latino community through collaborations and advocacy aimed at ensuring their access to quality housing.

    Role Overview:

    The Program Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day coordination and activities of the Ceiba. This position is ideal for a person who is passionate about policy-making in the realm of civic engagement. This is an in-person position with limited flexibility for remote work.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the coordination of meetings, communications, and logistics for civic engagement activities
    • Support policy research and help monitor local, state, federal and in community developments
    • Engage with community partners, residents, and stakeholders to gather input and foster collaboration
    • Contribute to the preparation of reports, grant materials, and outreach materials
    • Support administrative tasks related to Ceiba, the Ceiba Collective and its strategic priorities

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, political science, urban studies, nonprofit management, or a related field or 3 to 5 years of working experience in the field
    • Interest in policy, advocacy, or community development
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Bilingual English/Spanish
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in diverse settings
    • Knowledge of Philadelphia's communities and civic landscape is a plus
