NEIWPCC is seeking a full-time science communicator to provide scientific and technical expertise in advising, writing and publishing communications products for the Long Island Sound Partnership (LIS Partnership).
What You Will Do
As a science communicator for NEIWPCC, your work will be heavily geared towards implementing the LIS Partnership Communications, Outreach, and Engagement (COE) Strategic Plan and supporting integration of the newly revised LIS Partnership Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP) with a specific focus on the Informed and Engaged Public goal. Logistics
This full-time position will work 7.5 hours per day and is based in Lowell, MA. Duties will be performed largely in an office setting and will require regular travel within the LIS Watershed, for which a valid driver’s license and private means of transportation is required. After six months, this position may be eligible for a hybrid telecommuting work schedule, subject to approval and program needs.
What We Offer
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. NEIWPCC offers an outstanding comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees:
