Description
Ohel is looking for an energetic and responsible individual to work as a Medical Biller. Responsibilities include: Client billing, collection and appeals. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and payers. Checking patient insurance eligibility and benefits for services. Downloading and applying manual remittances and following up on denials and other adjustments. Successful candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced professional environment. Experience with medical billing required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills are required. Billing software experience preferred. Ability to work with others with patience and professionalism. This full-time position is located in Brooklyn.
Salary: $55,000- $65,000
