Job Description
The Digital Media Specialist will join DVRPC’s division of Operations, Communications, and Engagement, which manages the organization’s overall communications strategy and messaging; develops and executes public participation, outreach, and engagement activities; and disseminates public information, among other responsibilities. The division is involved in a wide variety of activities across the organization, including external communications, graphic design, internal communications, public engagement, employee engagement, website management, and special initiatives. This position reports directly to DVRPC’s Associate Director of Communications and Creative Services.

Experience & Training
To be classified as an AA II, a minimum of three years of professional experience in communications, digital media, journalism, public affairs, or library science, and a bachelor’s degree are required. A master’s degree can be substituted for one year of experience.
