BAD partners with corporations, nonprofits, and community organizations to create meaningful volunteer experiences that address community needs. Our Volunteer Coordinators (VCs) are the backbone of our on-site operations, ensuring volunteer projects run smoothly, efficiently, and with impact.
Role Summary
Break A Difference is seeking Baltimore-based Volunteer Coordinators to support community volunteer projects on a contract, as-needed basis. This role is ideal for individuals with flexible schedules who enjoy working with people, traveling, managing logistics, and being hands-on in the community.
Volunteer Coordinators (VCs) are paid, contract-based leaders who support single- and multi-day volunteer events with corporate groups. VCs lead teams on-site, manage volunteer flow and logistics, and help ensure participants have a safe, positive, and well-organized experience while delivering meaningful impact in the community.
This is a flexible, event-based contract role. Workload varies throughout the year based on corporate engagements—some months may include one event, while others may include multiple. Coordinators are offered events in advance and can accept assignments based on their availability.
