Arts|Learning, a 501(c)(3) arts education advocacy organization, has received foundation funding to hire a Political Consultant to support its Arts Access for All project. The goal is to secure state-mandated arts-education funding for preK-12 Massachusetts public schools. A bill, H4297, the Lowell Mason Arts Education Equity Act, has been filed and is currently under review by the MA legislature. This is a temporary, 10-month consultancy. This position reports to the Project Manager.
This is a hybrid position. The majority of this work is virtual and can be done from home, but candidates need to be physically located close to Eastern Massachusetts and can meet in person with legislators and state education policy makers.

Compensation: Consultant compensation for this work is $5,000 over the next 10 months, or $500 monthly. Travel and other related business expenses are compensated additionally.
