    Description

    K9 Youth Alliance is a small nonprofit that empowers youth and enriches the lives of shelter dogs in the Los Angeles area. We're seeking a part-time Program Director (~ 90–120 hours per program: 5, 3-4week programs annually). The PD oversees staff, volunteers, youth and dogs in our Positive Youth Development and Positive Enrichment Series, ensuring safe, fun and impactful experiences. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible and compassionate. Strong leadership and people managing skills required. Professional experience in youth development and animal welfare a must. This position often requires work in a busy City animal shelter with dogs experiencing fear, anxiety and stress. Pay commensurate with experience; credentialing costs covered.
