BACKGROUND ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL INTEGRITY PROJECT
The Environmental Integrity Project (EIP) is America’s environmental watchdog. We advocate for tough but fair environmental standards and empower communities fighting for clean air and water.
Our team of lawyers, analysts, communications staff, and engineers provide support to communities fighting David vs. Goliath battles against some of the biggest polluters in the U.S. We sue not only corporations that don’t follow the law, but also federal and state agencies when they fail to do their jobs protecting the environment.

EIP takes legal action to clean up pollution; we publish data-driven reports that push federal and state regulators to better protect public health; and we work with frontline communities to obtain the protections of our environmental laws. This position may require occasional travel. EIP has a headquarters office in Washington, DC and staff working in 17 states.
