    GirlVentures | California

    GirlVentures is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Logistics Coordinator to support our multi-day summer expeditions for youth ages 11–18. This seasonal role is essential to keeping our outdoor programs running smoothly—from food systems and gear management to transportation and field resupplies.

    About GirlVentures

    GirlVentures is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers girls and transgender and gender-diverse youth through outdoor adventure, environmental education, leadership development, and social justice exploration. Programs include backpacking, camping, rock climbing, and sea kayaking in Point Reyes, the Redwoods, and the Sierra Nevada.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Pack, maintain, and inventory expedition gear
    • Purchase, organize, and pack food for multi-day courses
    • Manage bulk food systems and menus
    • Support transportation logistics, including driving vans and resupply trips
    • Issue and track gear loans and assist with fittings
    • Support course starts, graduations, and end-of-course cleanup
    • Perform gear cleaning, repair, and end-of-season inventory

    Qualifications

    • Experience with logistics and food packing for outdoor programs
    • Age 21+ with valid driver’s license and clean driving record
    • Experience driving large vehicles/trailers preferred (CA Class B a plus)
    • Familiarity with backpacking, climbing, and kayaking gear
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Commitment to empowering girls and transgender and gender-diverse youth
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in variable conditions

    Compensation & Schedule

    • $180–$195 per day
    • 50–60 days between May 13–August 21, 2026
    • Weekend and occasional evening availability required
