    Description

    The Marketing & Communications Department leads public-facing strategy to shift public perception and build understanding of its vital work in giving people with blood cancers and disorders a second chance at life. The team works to strengthen our client's brand visibility, inspire potential donors, and encourage support through fundraising, volunteering, and advocacy.

    The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing high-quality visual assets that bring the client's mission to life across digital and print channels. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role focuses on hands-on creative execution while supporting campaign performance through rapid iteration, testing, and optimization.

    This position plays a critical role in ensuring brand consistency, creative agility, and emotional resonance across the client's marketing efforts, enabling faster campaign launches and reducing reliance on external creative vendors.

    RESPONSIBILITES

    • Produce static and video creative assets for advertising, website, social media, email, and print materials.
    • Design and adapt creative assets to support digital fundraising, donor recruitment, and awareness campaigns.
    • Ensure visual consistency and adherence to the client's brand guidelines across all marketing channels.
    • Rapidly iterate and adapt creatives based on performance insights and campaign results.
    • Support campaign launches with high-quality, conversion-focused design that drives engagement and action.
    • Collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and digital team to align creative with strategic objectives.
    • Prepare creative assets for multiple formats, platforms, and placements (paid and organic).
    • Maintain and organize creative files, templates, and brand assets.
    • Support A/B testing initiatives by producing multiple creative variations efficiently.
    • Coordinate with external freelancers or vendors when additional capacity or specialization is required.
    • Stay current with design, video, and digital marketing trends and share insights with the team.
    • Attend a minimum of one donor recruitment drive per quarter.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the client's mission, values, and brand voice.
    • Comply with all organizational policies and standards.
    • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
    • Uphold the organization’s commitment to equity and anti-discriminatory practice.
    • Fulfil any other duties as directed by the Senior Marketing Manager.

    REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience / Knowledge / Education

    • Degree-qualified in graphic design, visual communications, marketing, or a related field.
    • 2–4 years of professional experience in graphic design, digital design, or creative production.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating static and video creative across digital and print channels.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar).
    • Experience designing for performance-driven digital channels, including paid social and email.
    • Understanding of brand systems and maintaining visual consistency at scale.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Desirable, but not essential:

    • Experience designing for nonprofit, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations.
    • Familiarity with performance marketing metrics and creative optimization.
    • Experience creating assets for multiple social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
    • Basic motion graphics or animation skills.
    • Experience collaborating with external vendors or agencies.
