Repair is building a national Jewish service movement of flourishing Jewish communities that serve in pursuit of a just world. Repair mobilizes young adults to serve in their communities, catalyzes service through deep partnerships within Jewish communal organizations, and inspires people to take action through time-bound thematic national service campaigns. Our mission provides volunteers with an increased connection to meaningful service and learning as a Jewish value, builds capacity for nonprofit partners to meet their missions, and deepens connections across lines of difference.
Position Overview
Repair the World is hiring a Data Manager who will function as a capacity builder for the Digital & Data Team, driving data systems excellence and organizational empowerment. This role focuses on Salesforce administration and data management, playing a pivotal role in expanding the impact of the Data Team and strengthening a data-driven culture across Repair. In collaboration with our Senior Director of Data Strategy & Organizational Learning, a peer Data Manager, and external Salesforce consultants, this position will lead critical initiatives to enhance our participant tracking systems, implement system-wide improvements, and empower staff to leverage data for maximum impact. This role will draw on your knowledge of effective organizational collaboration, combined with robust technological platforms and people-centered process and training.
The Data Manager reports directly to the Senior Director of Data Strategy & Organizational Learning. This is a full-time, exempt position on Repair’s strategy team. This is a remote position with preference for candidates proximal to a Repair the World community (Atlanta, Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Colorado, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, New York).
Position Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration: Support Salesforce administration, including configuration changes, data entry, bulk uploads, troubleshooting, and user assistance (65%)
Training, Documentation & Culture Building: Support a strong data-driven culture through owning and resolving Salesforce support tickets, including thorough documentation and follow up (25%)
External Data Management: Oversee Repair’s external data collection and program application processes in partnership with the peer Data Manager (10%)

Compensation
Compensation at Repair the World is based on the salary band for the role and the cost of living for the location. The starting salary for this full-time, exempt role is $60,000 - $75,000, dependent on experience. Benefits package includes paid time off for service in addition to vacation, sick time, personal days, and holidays. Employer covers 100% of full-time employees’ health premiums (medical/dental/vision) for most plans and 50% for dependents. Additional benefits include retirement matching, professional development funds, employer-paid short and long-term disability coverage, plus access to the Jewish Learning Collaborative and our Economic Access Fund. In addition, employees who have been with Repair for at least six months are eligible for 16 weeks of paid parental leave (pro-rated for employees with Repair less than 6 months).
This position is included in Repair’s staff union-represented collective bargaining unit and specific terms and conditions of employment may be subject to a future collective bargaining agreement between Repair the World and the Repair the World Workers’ union.
