    SUMMARY:

    Bottomless Closet is currently recruiting a Program Coordinator – Client Services.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Bottomless Closet is a 501(c) (3) whose mission is to inspire and guide disadvantaged New York City women to enter the workforce and achieve success. Comprehensive services include the selection and provision of high-quality interview attire, 1:1 resume review/preparation and interview coaching, as well as a broad workshop curriculum that promotes professional development, financial management, digital literacy, and personal enrichment. We facilitate entrance into the workforce, build core competencies for workplace success, increase self-confidence and self-esteem, and transform women’s vision of their potential. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including women who are on public assistance, formerly incarcerated, single mothers, domestic violence survivors, and women living in shelters. Over 27 years, we have helped nearly 50,000 clients by providing our services free of charge to help them on their path to self-sufficiency.

    SUMMARY:

    Bottomless Closet is currently recruiting for a Program Coordinator – Client Services to support the delivery of high-quality, client-centered programming. This role is responsible for ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for clients, volunteers, donors, and guests, while providing administrative, logistical, and data support for client services, workshops, and events.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Client Services:

      • Responsible for providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients, volunteers, donors and visitors.
      • Manage all administrative and system related tasks associated with client appointments.
      • Effectively match clients and Career Coaches for appointments based on time, needs and expertise.
      • Support client appointments as needed to maintain an efficient appointment flow.
      • Manage client exit processes, including surveys, service reminders, and follow-up information.
      • Engage with clients and notify the Communications Manager of potential stories, quotes, and photos that reflect Bottomless Closet’s community and impact.

    Data:

    • Input and maintain accurate client and volunteer data into the database and run reports as required.
    • Build and manage workshops and client events in the database and on the website.
    • Process workshop registrations, respond to inquiries, and troubleshoot issues.
    • Track and record workshop attendance.
    • Support any additional needs for virtual and on-site programs.

    Other tasks, projects and responsibilities as requested by the Program Director.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2 years of administrative experience.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Fast learner who is comfortable working independently while meeting deadlines and communicating challenges or updates.
    • Understanding of Bottomless Closet’s mission and services.
    • Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to work in fast paced and flexible environment.
    • Committed to Bottomless Closet’s mission and able to work collaboratively with diverse populations including staff, volunteers, and clients.
    • Professional demeanor with a strong understanding of appropriate boundaries.
    • Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented.
    • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

    The Program Coordinator – Client Services position is Full Time (40 hours per week) and reports directly to the Program Director. Currently, the position is a combination of in-office and remote with the shift to more in-office as business needs require.

    SALARY RANGE: $48,000-$50,000 commensurate with experience.
