    • Encouraging members to develop leadership and work-readiness skills.
    • Supporting members with goal-setting and skill-building.
    • Participating in the Clubhouse's Transitional Employment (TE) Program, including helping members find jobs, training them, and stepping in to cover job shifts when needed.
    • Attending community events and meetings to promote Chelton Loft and learn from other Clubhouses.
    • Leading or supporting projects and strategic planning efforts with staff and members.
    • Covering social and recreational activities on evenings, weekends, and holidays (on a rotating basis).
    • Modeling and supporting healthy communication between members and service providers.
    • Helping onboard and train new members, staff, interns, and volunteers.

You Would Be a Great Fit If You:

      • Are a New York State Certified Peer Specialist and identify as someone with lived experience of mental health recovery.
      • Have a bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related field, OR equivalent experience and at least 2 years of experience in human services.
      • Have worked in a Psychosocial Clubhouse or mental health support program (preferred).
