    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Exhibit Coordinator to join our team. As an integral part of our exhibitions department, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of all exhibitions from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for art, culture and event planning to take their skills to the next level and make a lasting impact in the industry. This position will report to the Operations Manager.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Maintains exhibits for all visitors
    • Oversee the design, installation, and de-installation of art exhibits with receiving & hanging committee members.
    • Manage the production of interpretive materials such as wall texts, labels and brochures.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all exhibition-related communications with stakeholders, including but not limited to, artists, lenders, and venue representatives.
    • Prepare presentations and orchestrate receptions for each exhibit.
    • Collaborates with facilities team during installation and disassembling of exhibitions.
    • Coordinates registration process for event participants.
    • Manages all administrative duties and details associated with the exhibits.
    • Manages and coordinates biannual National Art Exhibition.
    • Cultivates relationships with current and new artists.
    • Interacts with gallery artists and visitors and gives impromptu gallery talks and tours
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Art, History, Museum Studies, or related field.
    • Previous experience in exhibit planning or coordination
    • Strong project management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in relevant software such as Adobe Creative Suite
    • Experience with budget management
    • Knowledge of current trends in museum and exhibit design
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Experience in marketing and public relations
    • 3+ years of experience in exhibition coordination and management.
    • Proven project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
