    ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

    Name of Organization: Collaborative Coalition Against Community Challenges (CCACCH).

    Country: Uganda

    CCACCH was formed in 2018 to make the voices and efforts of underserved groups of people (girls, women and young people) be heard and considered in grass root, National and International development programs and service delivery. CCACCH directly engages with individuals and women/youths groups through different programs in improving livelihoods, environmental protection / climate action, and good governance.

    Vision:

    A generation of empowered women and young people whose livelihoods are improved and sustainable.

    Mission:

    To contribute to the social-economic empowerment of women, young people and their families through active participation and access to economic opportunities, entrepreneurship skills by breaking a cycle of vulnerability to enable women, young people and the entire community live descent lives.

    Goal:

    To improve on the quality of women and young people address the root causes of poverty and gender based violence in the households and communities, promoting equality and social economic development of rural communities and improvement of their standards of living through provision of income generating activities and capacity building.

    We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Consultant to help secure grants and funding that will directly support our mission.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Title: Fundraising and Research consultant

    Description:

    CCACCH is seeking a motivated Fundraising Consultant to support resource mobilization and donor engagement. The consultant will develop and implement strategies to secure funding from international donors, foundations, and philanthropic organizations.

    This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to grassroots change in Uganda by leveraging your fundraising expertise to build sustainable support for women, youth, and girl-centered initiatives.

    Role & Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement a fundraising strategy aligned with CCACCH’s mission and priorities.
    2. Identify and research potential donors, grant-making bodies, trusts, and foundations.
    3. Draft compelling proposals, concept notes, and grant applications.
    4. Advise CCACCH leadership on fundraising best practices and donor engagement.
    5. Support the team in building long-term partnerships with funders.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    4. Experience in the field of fundraising and program evaluation.
    5. Familiarity with the NGO sector and its challenges.
    6. Strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices.
    7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
    8. Ability to write compelling grant proposals and other fundraising materials.
    9. Experience with fundraising software and databases.
    10. Knowledge of the non-profit sector and funding sources.
    11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    12. Strong organizational and time management skills.
    13. Experience with event planning and management.
    14. Ability to analyze data and track fundraising performance.
    15. Professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for the non-profit sector.
