What we are looking for in a candidate:
This is a part time, exempt position that will report to the CEO. The Development Associate will be joining a small, tight-knit team that values collaboration and prioritizes a healthy work culture.
We have a hybrid work environment, with staff coming into our Boston-based office roughly twice a week. With this position being part-time, there may be some additional flexibility regarding scheduling and location of work.
Individuals from communities impacted by gun violence are strongly encouraged to apply. Studies have shown that women and BIPOC individuals are less likely to apply for jobs if they are not a perfect fit for every criterion. If you feel that this position may be right for you, we encourage you to apply regardless.
Salary and benefits:
This is an hourly rate position, at $25/hour for 20 hours per week. Benefits include paid time off, access to a 401K plan, and support for remote work set-up. We offer ongoing training opportunities, in a fast-paced, dynamic, supportive, and collaborative setting.
The Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence is an equal opportunity employer. Women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and members of other historically disenfranchised groups are especially welcome and encouraged to apply.
