    Impact Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families build lasting lives in recovery. Our work is rooted in dignity, accountability, and community. The Development Department plays a critical role in sustaining and expanding this mission through thoughtful donor engagement, strong systems, and strategic fundraising through government and private opportunities as well as personal donation from supporters.

    Position Overview

    The Development Coordinator is a key member of the Development team and serves as the operational backbone of our fundraising efforts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented development professional who understands the importance of strong data, timely donor communication, and reliable systems.

    This position will work closely with the Director of Development, the Chief Strategic Officer, the Chief Executive Officer.

    Key Responsibilities

    Database and Gift Management

    • Enter and manage all donor and gift data in the organization’s CRM, including gift entry and coding
    • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the donor database
    • Process and track acknowledgements to ensure timely and appropriate donor recognition
    • Support reconciliation with Finance as needed

    Grant Administration and Reporting

    • Track all grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance materials
    • Assist in the preparation and submission of grant reports
    • Maintain organized grant files and reporting calendars
    • Support grant research efforts aligned with organizational priorities

    Donor Support and Communication

    • Assist with donor outreach, follow up, and stewardship communications
    • Support donor segmentation and mailing lists for campaigns and newsletters
    • Serve as a point of contact for donor inquiries as appropriate
    • Draft email marketing outreach for donor audience
    • Craft client testimonials for storytelling fundraising

    Departmental Support

    • Support the Director of Development with reporting, data pulls, and fundraising analytics, marketing asset creation
    • Assist with internal systems and documentation to support department growth
    • Participate in continuous improvement of development processes and workflows

    Qualifications

    • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in nonprofit development or fundraising
    • Demonstrated experience working with a CRM, preferably Raiser’s Edge or Raiser’s Edge NXT
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Experience with gift processing, donor records, and acknowledgements
    • Familiarity with grant tracking and reporting processes
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Commitment to the mission and values of nonprofit work

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in substance use treatment, healthcare, or human services nonprofits
    • Experience supporting a growing or evolving development department

    Salary and Benefits

    • The salary range for this role is $70.000-$80,000 per year. Actual salary commensurate with experience.
