CaringKind: The leading nonprofit supporting individuals and communities impacted by Alzheimer’s and related dementias, seeks a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Associate to join our growing team.
Position Overview
The Part-Time Marketing & Communications Associate will play a key support role within our Marketing and Communications team, working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to develop and apply their creativity in fun, innovative ways while making a direct impact on a mission-driven organization. Primary responsibilities include assisting with content creation, social media management, email campaigns, and event marketing support.
Work Model: Hybrid (Remote + Occasional In-Person Events in NYC)
What You'll Do
- Content & Brand
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube).
- Shape stories that highlight caregivers, scientists, advocates, and partners.
- Maintain visual and narrative consistency across platforms and campaigns.
- Digital Marketing
- Build and send email campaigns in Pardot, Mailchimp, or similar.
- Track performance (CTR, conversions) and help refine our digital strategy.
- Update website content and support analytics reporting in Google Analytics 4.
- Events & Campaigns
- Support promotions for many of the large fundraising initiatives.
- Assist with guest communications, editing, and on-site brand execution.
- Help design sponsor decks, recap reports, and marketing toolkits.
- Administrative & Coordination Tasks
- Maintain a shared calendar to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage digital assets, track campaign tasks, and ensure marketing files are up-to-date and easily accessible.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, or digital media (internships welcome).
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills - adaptable across audiences and platforms.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with social scheduling tools.
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce/Pardot, Mailchimp, or similar CRMs.
- Passion for mission-driven work and interest in brain health, caregiving, or nonprofit impact.

Details:
- Part-Time Hybrid/Per Diem: ~15–20 hours per week, remote with occasional in-person events.
- Location: New York City.
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + growth potential ($20 an hour/ 20 hours a week)
