Who We Seek
Hispanic Federation (HF) seeks a Director for Immigration Initiatives to provide strategic oversight and operational management of HF’s growing immigration initiatives portfolio. The Director is responsible for overseeing immigration program activities, supervising immigration program staff, managing overall department budget, and producing compliant program management and reporting in accordance with HF’s fiscal policies and federal, state and local regulations. The Director will work closely with internal departments, government agencies, funding partners, community-based organizations, and program participants to ensure that impacted community members have access to essential resources and quality services. The Director will guide and manage the immigration program team to administer initiatives, support immigrant-serving nonprofit partners, and produce effective communications and accurate reports to both internal and external stakeholders. The Director works collaboratively with HF’s Director for Immigration Legal Services to monitor program deliverables and ensure expenses are tracked accordingly. The Director for Immigration Initiatives will also work collaboratively with members of HF’s policy team to bring forward immigration-related advocacy priorities and HF’s development team to support fundraising and donor cultivation.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has experience overseeing the development and implementation of programs that serve immigrants, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and effective supervision of supporting staff.

Compensation and Benefits:
Position salary starting at $70,000 -$80,000 and salary is and is commensurate with experience. Compensation comes with a robust benefits package with a fully subsidized medical, dental, vision insurance as of start, 403(B) retirement plans with a company match after 6 months, and access to flexible spending and pre-tax commuter benefits.
First year employees of the Hispanic Federation receive a PTO package with 15 days designated for vacation, 4 Personal Days, and 8 Sick Days annually.
