The Analyst role provides strategic and technical support for the day-to-day human resources processes in the Workday platform and helps promote data integrity. This role partners with all functional areas of HR – along with IT and Finance, as needed – to provide innovative solutions. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Human Resources and works collaboratively with the HRIS and Information Technology teams.
This is a full-time, non-union, exempt position. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Own the HR day-to-day maintenance tasks of basic Workday-related transactions
- Serve as the Workday Business Process Administrator in HR
- Support functional teams within human resources to maximize business processes within Workday
- Coordinate with the ERP-HR Analyst in IT, Finance and the ERP Steering Committee regarding changes in the Workday environment
- Gather or create standard HR reports in Workday as required
- Respond to requests for reports containing HR data from across and outside of the organization in an accurate and timely manner
- Practice discretion when handling sensitive data, especially when sharing information outside of the human resources environment.
- Serve as a first-line resource in HR to troubleshoot issues within Workday processes such as reports, integrations, and notifications.
- Serve as the HR main point of contact for ongoing maintenance of supervisory organizations within Workday
- Partner with IT to develop and implement changes to Workday security roles/user groups for new and existing processes, reports, and domains
- Regularly engage in the Workday Community and communicate with Information Technology to flag system updates
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2-3 years supporting primary users in Workday.
- Working knowledge of contemporary technological advancements such as AI.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong technical presentation skills and the ability to convey technical information to non- technical users
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and to juggle competing demands
- Expertise in using the report writer in Workday
- Project management capabilities and a track record for delivering timely results
- Demonstrate proper discretion and judgment concerning confidential information
- Critical thinking and analytical abilities
- Strong software skills (intermediate to advanced) in Microsoft 365
- Working knowledge of human resources operations in a complex organization
- Workday certifications are a plus
