    Description

    The Technical Assistance and Training Project Manager supports skill-building and development for Continuum of Care (CoC) service providers. This role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering training programs to foster continuous learning and capacity growth within the CoC. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and dedicated to promoting a culture of learning.

    Key Responsibilities

    Training/Role Playing/Processes

    • Develop and inform trainings produced by Continuum of Care
    • Evaluate training impact for continuous improvement
    • Evaluating current system of homeless response and propose implementation changes
    • Facilitate role-playing of crisis response/harm reduction with provider staff
    • Direct, on the ground training of CoC outreach staff on best practices, harm reduction and housing first approaches, etc.
    • Review CoC policy and procedures and informing revisions during workgroup and PFH meetings
    • Creation of crisis response Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    Onboarding

    • Assist in onboarding new providers and new staff of providers (externally)
    • Participate in PFH hiring interviews (internally)

    CoC Committees & Participation

    • Participate on 2-3 CoC committees
    • Adapt to changing workload as identified by trajectory of the strategic work
    • Participate in site visits
    • Increase capacity to respond to influx of stakeholders
    • Serve as a subject-matter expert for partners in homeless work such as City of Atlanta, Mayor’s office, etc.

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    • 1 year or more lived experience of unsheltered homelessness in City of Atlanta and/or surrounding areas
    • Current member of a CoC workgroup/committee
    • High energy and a passion for the CoC’s mission and goals
    • Previous experience working with the homeless population or housing preferable

    Benefits

    This is a part-time, 12-month position and does not come with benefits.

    Partners for HOME serves as the Collaborative Applicant for the Atlanta Continuum of Care (CoC) — a HUD program that promotes community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness and provides funding for efforts by nonprofit providers and state and local governments to quickly rehouse people impacted by homelessness.
