    About VACCEB:

    The Regional Resource Center (RRC) operated by the Vietnamese American Community Center of the East Bay (VACCEB) is located in San Leandro, CA. The Center has been a resource for low-income and underrepresented seniors, refugee/immigrant communities. Our mission is to provide supportive services to low-income populations while they are trying to become self-sufficient and integrate themselves into all aspects of American society. RRC/VACCEB provides a variety of supportive services, including food security, senior programs, information and assistance, education classes (ESL, Digital Literacy, Citizenship), health and wellness, advocacy work, and employment placement assistance.

    Position Overview:

    RRC/VACCEB is seeking a dynamic and motivated Program Manager to join our team and lead our fundraising efforts and strengthen our relationships with local officials, funders, community-based organizations (CBOs), and key stakeholders. This role will focus on securing funding through grants, fundraising events, and strategic partnerships to support our expanding programs and services. An ideal candidate is someone with a strong background in grant proposal writing and strategic thinking with respect to organizational sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet and exceed annual revenue goals.
    • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with donors, grant-makers, corporate sponsors, and government agencies.
    • Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events, including galas, community events, and donor appreciation activities.
    • Represent VACCEB at networking events, community meetings, and with local, state, and federal officials to promote partnerships and funding opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the program and finance teams to align funding needs with organizational goals.
    • Prepare and submit grant proposals, reports, and other funding documentation in coordination with the finance team.
    • Monitor fundraising trends and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
    • Maintain donor and stakeholder databases to track communications and relationships.
    • Support VACCEB’s leadership team with strategic planning and resource development.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in fundraising, business development in a nonprofit environment. Ability to set funding goals with a 65% success rate.
    • Proven track record of securing grants, sponsorships, and individual donations.
    • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and CBOs.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Familiarity with Instrumental software a plus.
    • Experience planning and managing fundraising strategies and events
