    We’re seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Operations to serve as a key member of the Executive Team. In this role, you will lead and integrate a multidisciplinary team spanning operational excellence, strategic communications, internal project delivery, data and impact reporting, digital tools, and board relations. You will drive alignment between strategy and day-to-day operations, lead execution of enterprise-wide initiatives, and scale Arcora’s internal systems to support and advance its mission.

    The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $151,000.00 - $281,000.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

    • At the direction of the Vice President, lead strategic planning and implementation processes, ensuring alignment across teams
    • Oversee budgeting, finance operations, and cross-functional project execution within their areas of responsibility and across the Foundation
    • Develop and manage internal performance dashboards and learning systems
    • Manage a high-performing team with capabilities across internal communications, data and evaluation, operations, and digital tools (e.g. CRM platform)
    • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of internal and external strategic initiatives
    • Serve as the operational liaison to the Executive Team, preparing internal updates and Board materials, including but not limited to legal and philanthropic reporting and conflicts of interest declarations
    • Promote a culture of learning, equity, and collaboration across all areas of responsibility

    The experience, skills, and education needed to succeed in the position are outlined below. These requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.

    • Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree preferred, particularly in public health, public administration, healthcare administration, health education or business.
    • At least 10 years of relevant experience with demonstrated growth in responsibilities; with at least 5 years of leading and developing cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated success in managing a cross-functional team that includes operations, finance, internal and external communications, data, evaluation, and digital product functions
    • Demonstrated success in creating engaging, high-quality presentations and messaging for internal and external audiences.
    • Experience in strategic operations, organizational effectiveness, or project management; including a proven ability to integrate strategy, performance management, and organizational learning
    • Skilled in change management and fostering internal alignment
    • Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with tact, and to work effectively and respectfully with politically, ideologically, culturally, and geographically diverse people and communities.
    • Experience leading diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and activities.
    • Experience liaising with board committees and engaging in board-level strategy work.
