    Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid or Remote if outside DC area)

    The National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) is seeking a Learning Programs Manager to join our team and lead the development of innovative training programs for our nationwide network. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of instructional design, technology, and accessibility.

    Who We Are

    NDRN is the nonprofit membership organization for the federally mandated Protection and Advocacy (P&A) Systems and Client Assistance Programs (CAP). Together, we are the nation’s largest provider of legal advocacy for people with disabilities, advancing civil and human rights through systemic advocacy, litigation, and policy reform.

    Who We Are Looking For

    You are a strategic thinker and creative problem solver who loves transforming complex information into engaging learning experiences. You understand adult learning principles and accessibility standards inside and out, and you’re excited to apply them in a mission-driven environment. You’re comfortable managing technology platforms, collaborating with subject-matter experts, and ensuring every learner feels included.

    What You’ll Do

    Design & Develop Curriculum:

    • Create online and blended learning modules that align with NDRN’s training goals.
    • Work closely with legal and non-legal subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and clarity.
    • Apply Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to ensure accessibility and inclusivity.
    • Develop templates, style guides, and best practices for consistent and accessible content creation.

    Manage our LMS:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of NDRN’s LMS (Brightspace), ensuring seamless user experience and compliance with WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 standards.
    • Identify any gaps or issues found in training or administration.

    Lead Webinar Production:

    • Support virtual trainings and webinars, ensuring smooth delivery and accessible materials.
    • Manage and coordinate registration content for trainings and webinars.

    Drive Innovation:

    • Research and implement new learning technologies to enhance engagement and
    • accessibility.

    What You Bring

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning & Development, or related field (master’s preferred).

    Experience:

    • 5+ years in instructional design, curriculum development, or eLearning management.
    • 2+ years administering Brightspace (D2L) or similar LMS.
    • Proven ability to create accessible content that meets WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and plain language standards.
    • Hands-on experience producing or managing webinars and virtual trainings.

    Skills:

    • Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design models.
    • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools.
    • Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
    • Bonus: Familiarity with advocacy, disability rights, or legal/policy content.
    • Compensation and Benefits

    Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
