    POSITION TITLE: Finance Manager

    DEPARTMENT: Administration

    REPORTS TO: Executive Director

    STATUS: Exempt

    REVISION DATE: February 6, 2026

    SALARY RANGE: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00

    General Job Statement:

    Reporting to and partnering with the Executive Director, the Finance Manager will set MN350 and

    MN350 Action financial policy and direction while actively participating in and driving the agency’s

    overall economic strategy. The Finance Manager will lead, with the Executive Director and Board

    Treasurer, all financial administration, budgeting, grant and contract management, and facilities

    management, and will provide direction for facilities management. As a member of the Leadership

    Team, the Finance Manager will work closely with a motivated and engaged Board of Directors.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field with a minimum

    of (5) years of related experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.

    Five (5) years of experience with demonstrated skills in receivables, payables, and payroll, including

    experience with QuickBooks Online.

    Preference for three (3) or more years experience in human services and/or non-profit agency,

    working with grants accounting.

    Experience promoting and adhering to established policy and procedures to ensure funds are

    expended in a fiscally responsible manner and adheres to all agency standards.

    Experience holding staff accountable to processes and standards, optimizing the performance of

    agency processes and leveraging technology.

    Strength in problem solving, planning, evaluation and coordination of services across an

    organization with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

    Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly

    with excellent attention to detail.

    Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

    Advance PC skills in Word, and Excel, and Quickbooks Online.

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    1. Demonstrated experience in accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
    2. Strong analytical skills
    3. Must be comfortable taking initiative with demonstrated ability to work independently and as a

    team member.

    2. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a timely manner.
    3. Ability to communicate in verbal and written forms with clarity and accuracy.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the

    1. Daily management of accounts payable and receivable, and credit cards administration
    2. All account reconciliations
    3. Review and book payroll information into QuickBooks, and serve as payroll backup
    4. Financial statement preparation with Excel and presentation to the board of directors
    5. Annual budget preparation/analysis and occasional forecasting
    6. Lead for annual external audit
    7. Work with internal staff to create new grants budgets and manage existing grants and reporting
    8. Work with community partners who MN350 is a fiscal sponsor
    9. Interact with Every Action (Donor database system) to get information for financial and internal staff reporting
    10. CFB partisan and lobbying reports
    11. Annual insurance/benefits renewal and update in payroll system

    Work Environment:

    Work is performed in a hybrid work environment. It involves viewing a computer screen for six to eight

    hours daily and requires hand-eye coordination.
